The daily problems
What changes on day one.
Before
Clients want a time. Sitters need room to drive between homes.
With enpet
Book by arrival window. The client is told "between 10 and 2", the office plans each sitter's day inside the windows around the set-time visits, and the sitter's phone shows the order.
Before
A ten-day vacation means booking thirty visits one at a time.
With enpet
A trip is the dates, the visits a day, the pets and the home tasks, previewed with every visit priced and holidays marked, then booked as one. Clients can request a whole trip from the portal.
Before
Month end means adding up walks, extra dogs and holiday rates by hand.
With enpet
Visits gather on one monthly statement with each pet, surcharge and fee on its own line. The office reviews it before the client sees it, and sitter pay stays tied to each visit.
Capabilities
Built in, not bolted on.
Arrival windows
Named windows per location, such as Midday 10–2. The client sees the window, the office a planned time, and online booking offers only the windows a day can still take.
Plan the day
Orders each sitter's visits inside their windows around the set-time ones. The office confirms it, and a reminder appears if tomorrow is still unplanned.
Vacation sitting
Several visits a day over a date range, with home tasks, priced visit by visit before anything is booked. One request from the client, one confirmation from you.
Standing schedules
Monday-to-Friday walks for the whole household on one schedule, several weekdays at once, each visit priced as it is booked.
Extra-pet pricing
The first pet at the service price and each further pet at the extra-pet price, the same in the office, the portal and standing schedules.
Holiday & same-day pricing
Holiday surcharges that can repeat every year, a same-day fee after your cut-off, rates set per family, and a price change with an effective date.
Stays at a sitter's home
Overnight care at a sitter's own home as one stay from drop-off to pick-up, priced per night and kept inside each host's guest limit. The host still takes walks.
A usual sitter, and a backup
Each household has a usual sitter and a backup. When a visit goes to someone else, the office is asked whether to tell the client.
My day on the phone
Each sitter sees only their own visits, in order, with the window, every pet, the checklist and a report box. Start, finish and checklist ticks are kept when the signal drops.
The walk, live
For a sitter who shares their walks, the client sees the route drawn as the walk goes, never the house or where the sitter is right now. The report says how far and how long.
Keys & access notes
Lockbox, alarm and gate codes masked on the client's record, shown to the assigned sitter around the visit, every look logged.
Sitter-to-office messages
Sitters message the office from My day, about one of their visits or anything else, and the client of their own visit.
Monthly statements
Visits gather on one draft through the month, or through a trip. The office posts it; a tip on a statement is split across the sitters who did the visits.
Card, bank or check
Clients pay by card, or from their bank account where your Stripe account takes bank payments. Record a mailed check or cash with the day it arrived.
Per-visit sitter pay
A percent of the bill or a flat amount per completed visit, with extra pets and holidays, plus mileage at your rate per mile. Each sitter reads their own statement.
Autopay, credit & gift cards
Clients who turn on autopay are charged as each bill goes out, credit first. Refund into credit, and sell gift cards online that are redeemed as credit.
Your portal, your rules
Your link and logo on the sign-in page, a minimum and maximum notice, a card or current vaccines before a request, and schedule changes that wait for the office.
Switch from Time To Pet
Bring clients, second owners, pets, access notes and vets, standing schedules, upcoming visits and trips, and open balances, each step previewed before anything is saved.
