Messaging

One conversation. Every channel.

A text, a voicemail, an in-app message and an email from the same client are one thread, not four tabs. Book from it, get paid from it, draft replies in it, and let the routine answers send themselves.

  • Booking from the thread
  • AI drafts you edit
  • In-app first, SMS when it matters

Channels

One thread per client, whatever they used to reach you.

One thread per client relationship. Day separators, delivery and read receipts, system milestones like “checked in” as quiet lines in between.

SMSTwo-way texting with STOP/START handled, segments metered honestly.
In-appFree messages in the parent portal, with push to their phone.
EmailSent from your name, replies to your inbox thread.
VoicemailTranscribed, tagged and filed in the same conversation.
Calls & voice notesLog a call, leave a voice note; both stay on the thread.
Internal notesStaff-only, with @mentions, never sent to the client.

Book from the thread

The reply that becomes an appointment.

Most software makes the client leave the conversation to book. enpet puts the booking in the conversation, through the same guarded path as every other appointment, pricing, availability and compliance included.

  • Bookable offers — Send a priced card, service, time, groomer. The parent taps Accept and a real appointment is created through the same guarded path as any booking.
  • One-tap reschedule — Propose a new time; the text carries a link that confirms it in one tap.
  • Waitlist offers — A cancellation offers the slot to the next parent by text; the first tap claims it.
  • Booking-request inbox — Portal requests arrive with an approve / review / hold recommendation and the reasons.
  • Invite & claim links — One link connects a parent to your business, or claims a code you printed on a flyer.
  • Pay by link — A hosted invoice in the thread, with your branding and a card-on-file option.

The client side: live status, offers and receipts arrive in the portal thread

The text that sends itself

Move the card to Ready. The message is already gone.

The Grooming Hub board and the owner's live page are the same fact seen from two sides. Every stage the card passes updates the page; when it lands on Ready, the pickup message goes out in-app, with an SMS fallback if it is not read.

AI in the inbox

Drafts you edit. Triage you trust.

Every model in the inbox degrades gracefully, if the gateway is unavailable, a deterministic fallback still answers, and the human always sends.

Triage lane

Every inbound message classified by category (booking, billing, complaint, medical, general) and urgency, so the medical one is never third in the queue.

Reply-Assist

A tone-aware draft grounded in the conversation, or ghost-text that finishes the sentence you started. You edit, you send.

Suggested replies

One-tap chips built from your real templates and shop data, hours, prices, availability.

Routing & cost

In-app first. SMS only when it matters.

A message to a parent who has the portal costs nothing and reaches their phone by push. SMS is the fallback for the things that cannot wait, never the default bill.

  • In-app first

Transactional messages go to the portal with a push notification, for free.

  • SMS when it matters

Urgent classes fall back to one text if the message is unread after a set time.

  • Per-event policy

Decide per event type, ready for pickup, invoice, reminder, how it travels.

  • Quiet hours & caps

No 6 a.m. reminders; marketing caps and consent enforced by the send path.

  • Carrier-aware sending

Broadcasts pace themselves to what carriers accept, so nothing bounces.

  • History export

A year of conversations, exported in the background to a signed download.

Automation

The routine sends itself.

Sequences per service, answers to the easy questions, campaigns with consent, and an alert that finds a lost dog faster than a poster.

  • Ready-for-pickup, from the board

When the card reaches Ready on the Grooming Hub, the owner's live page updates and the pickup message goes out, in-app first, SMS if unread.

  • Playbooks per service

Pre-arrival instructions the day before, a mid-visit story nudge, a review ask the next day, each fires exactly once.

  • Auto-answers for the easy ones

'What time do you open?' answers itself, in-app first, with the autonomy dial deciding what else may.

  • Campaigns & segments

Broadcasts to the clients who match, lapsed, upcoming, a breed, a service, with consent baked in.

  • Lost-pet alert

One MMS with the photo to every opted-in client within a radius; resolved when the pet is home.

  • Coverage & shift trade

A shift that needs cover goes out to staff; the first tap accepts.

  • Review requests

Asked at the right moment, landing on your public profile with your reply.
